Franklin County employees sign up partners for health insurance (The Columbus Dispatch)

Partners of 74 gay or unmarried Franklin County employees will start the new year with a new perk: health insurance. Commissioners voted in August to join the trend of private businesses and government agencies offering the benefit. The cost to the county’s health plan in 2010 will be $638,250.
